Day Nine: Two images that describe your life or yourself right now.
Day Ten: One confession

Thank you, 2010. Hello, 2011
I guess in a way, I had pretty good year in 2010. 2011 is already looking good so far. I wish everyone a wonderful 2011! Happy New Years, everyone!

What kept you sane?
Comics! Anime! UTAU! Cats! [nerdiness overload]...and most of all; Family. [wink!]

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

What political issue stirred you the most?
The terrible laws being passed in Japan. Idiots.

Who did you miss?
My friends.

Who was the best new person you met?
I haven't really met anyone.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
Be nice to people and appreciate them, even if they don't appreciate you.
However, it's not too bad to still hope for terrible things to happen to them, right?

Quote(s) or song lyric(s) that sums up your year:

Original Song 2

Hatsumi made original Halloween song for Pumpking, with Sekka Yufu in chorus:
"Bad End Dance Party!"

Thank you, Hatsumi! Thank you, Yurikawa for the art!

Richard comic.
I lied, I went ahead and posted more Richard's comics. I included the first pages I did, so just scroll down for new ones if you've already read them. I thank everyone who said they liked them, even if it was just three pages...thought out and drawn badly with markers. It's really a surprise to see that people actually do read my comics!

Sharpie Comic
Another spontaneous comic.

I'm going to try uploading them few pages at a time, instead of posting bunch of pages in one entry. I'll also be switching between comics. I'm on a sharpie binge before January.

Some of my friends asked how I do thumbs since I joined EnterVoid. I keep forgetting to show them so I went ahead and scanned my thumbs for a comic battle I wanted to do with Emily.

ThumbnailCollapse )

Nothing really makes any sense, even if you could read what I wrote in there. My thumbs are the most chaotic thing in the universe that, by the time I'm ready to sketch the actual pages, I honestly can't tell what the hell I was trying to draw/write for each page. In the end, I have to ignore my thumbnail and start making up everything as I go.

Speaking of battle with Emily, I won't be finishing my part. I realized that she is going way too fast for me and once January starts, I probably won't even have time to work on it. Maybe once in a while I can get back to it but I don't see that happening. Sorry, Emily. However, January is the month I am looking forward to! I hope I can get in on some of the projects my friends have talked to me about; I'm pretty excited about it.

My only concern is time management and making cleaner and bigger thumbnails.

(no subject)
Today I opened my email to find that I wasn't qualified for some job I don't remember applying to, yet again. The reason I don't remember applying to these are because I've applied to so many, that when they actually do make contact, I don't remember it anymore. Lately I got an interview offer at some office and I felt really lucky, but they kept pushing the date back and I haven't heard back from them since (actually I emailed them asking for the new date and I got nothing). I was hoping 2010 will be a better year since 2009 was such a horrible one, but 2010 hasn't been so promising and it's already December.

So that somehow reminded me of a comic I doodled about the time I spent in Okinawa this January. It was actually written in Japanese but since my friend asked me to write it in English, I decided to do that and post it here.

My days in Okinawa 2010 (Part 1)Collapse )

But yeah, this has been depressing me for a long, long time. I don't have any skill or talent as an artist to be considered for anything, and I can't even get a job at McDonald's that would willingly hire a kid who lacks any respect for any of their customers.

What is wrong with me.

I'm also really tired of people asking me, "so, did you get a job yet:D?"
On the inside I'm so bitter that I want to reply, "No, but my fist is going to schedule an interview with your face." ...but of course, I shouldn't be rude.

I hate computers.
I hate when I'm arguing with someone online for sport, and right after they utter something stupid, I would come up with amazing (AH! Mazing) comeback. The thing is, no one will ever realize how clever I am because this PC lags at equally amazing timing where it stops me from typing anything.

Except I don't realize this and my fingers are still typing. So, 5 minutes later, the following happens once PC stops lagging:
Everything I typed comes up jumbled up with typos I never made,
My comeback pops up into their window ridiculously late, as if I had my tongue sticking out, trying to think of a good argument when they are already done with the topic.

Either way, this PC makes me far more retarded than I actually am. It's also making this loud noise as if when this PC grows up, it wants to become a lawn mower.

So next time if we're arguing and I stop talking, let that be a clue that you lost this argument.
